i am borrowing rachel’s idea of having a top ten list for best moments of the year … not necessarily in a particular order, but i’ll try.
10. the day arho bonded with me: we tried to get into the church “to get coffee”, splattered ourselves with coke, AND got bruises from that stupid ladder.
9. the last football game: doing the wizard of oz dance with neal, tammy, and amy.
8. derek offering me his coat at the novi invitational: i am not sure why, but that really stands out in my mind.
7. whitney and i crying on sean under the bridge at plymouth canton: right before everything started to spin out of control.
6. the day i broke up with alex: i had never been so proud of myself.
5. the bus ride home from novi: derek telling sean and me what our kids are going to look like when we’d only been going out for six hours.
4. winning battle of the bands: talk about an adrenaline rush just playing.
3. the homecoming dance: what can i say? that night was purely magical. and i discovered dave matthews band.
2. january 27: the night whitney and i were on the phone with derek and sean until 2:30 A.M.
1. st. louis: the most fun i’d had in a long time.
