Michigan State University
Freshman Seminar Abroad in Quebec City, Canada
Thursday, July 24 to Monday, August 4, 2003
guess who’s going to quebec?! well, it’s not for SURE yet, but i mailed my application today, and it’s WAY before the deadline. it’s worth two credits before school even starts! hot stuff. while we’re there i want to take dr. violin-wigent’s class “exploring the social dimensions of language and the issue of bilingualism in Canada and Quebec”. oh, and i think matt might go with me! woooooo!
the honors english seminar book is GORGEOUS. i went and received my copy today, then promptly gave it to mike so he could have reading material for after his spanish test.
i loved my schedule today and yesterday. i got to skip hours 3, 5, and 6. meaning i got to go out for lunch both days AND leave early. hooray for kembalaya’s, taco bell, matt, and nathaniel. <33333
tomorrow is a regular ‘ol half day, then i work 3-6pm. on thursday morning i am going out to breakfast at big boy with a bunch of people from calc/physics. then it’s the get up kids/dashboard confessional concert with matthew & michael!!! WOO! then friday is my last day of high school. i get to arrive a fashionable two class hours late. i will receive my cap & gown. this is creeping me out.
today in physics, rachel warren was singing the words to the something corporate song, “iF U C Jordan”. matt, amanda tabbert, and i joined in … and when we got to the line that says, “high school’s over”, we all just STOPPED and looked at each other. because guess what? high school’s over!
