never is enough.

so i went home today! well … sort of. nathaniel turned around and said to me in calc, “my car is still here. i have to take it home.” i said, “i want to go with you!” so after i finished tearing up the calculus test, we grabbed a quick lunch in case and headed for linden. the carride consisted of good music with lots of bass and flying at dangerous speeds down beard rd. nathaniel and i were both quite giddy. we made it from hubbard hall to jeffrey ct. in 50 minutes. i called mike and he came over to nathaniel’s for a few minutes … i had enough time to hug him and notice that he and i now own very similar new balance tennis shoes (we’re twins, michael!). then mrs. giddings brought nathaniel and me right back to michigan state because i had to go to practice.

I HAD A CRAZY GOOD AFTERNOON! a crazy good day, in fact. saw drew on the way to calc, did a-okay on the test, ran home with nathaniel, saw mike, went to practice and set the entire halftime show for saturday, ate chicken nuggets for dinner in landon, then went to the breslin center to practice for spartan spectacular. i had fun goofing around with ben and andy (“how much will you pay me to pull this lever?”). THIS WEEKEND IS GOING TO BE SO BUSY! well, mainly friday/saturday.

even seeing mike for like 5 minutes today made me so so so happy. i think i have enough happiness to tide me over until i go home in …. ELEVEN DAYS!

just got done yakking mike’s ear off on the phone for 20 minutes. sometimes i wonder if i talk too much. i was telling him about how i want to stay here this summer. my plan is to get a job, maybe take one class, and sub-lease a house or apartment near campus. the only problem is WHO to live with. mike said, “you need to meet some GIRLS”, and he is right. i make too many boy friends and far too few female ones.

my parents are buying tickets for the last football game! YAYYYY!
