alex (my baritone-playing friend) is so funny (& blunt!). here is an excerpt from our brief conversation after the parade:

KRISTEN: do i look as wet as everyone else does?
ALEX: no, you look sexy .. but could you flip that thing in your nose up? that’s NOT hot.

i have had the most up & down week ever. dad was driving home from chicago so he stopped and took me to lunch today. :) i got a 63 on my second calculus test. :( i was also late to calculus … partly because i got on the wrong bus (i ALWAYS ride my bike), but mostly because i was talking to brian online (brian’s a cute eef player, so that’s okay). i received a letter from mike in the mailbox just now, which significantly brightened my day & made me smile. so i guess i miss mike a little. okay, you got me …. i miss mike a whole damn lot! the last two weeks have gone by pretty fast, so i’m happy about that. my second professorial assistantship payday was today … my paycheck was supposed to be directly deposited, but it didn’t go through. i was also supposed to get my check from spartan waiter but i didn’t have time to go pick it up.

i submitted my pro 102 paper to dr. anne this morning … only to receive an e-mail this afternoon telling me she needed a hard copy as well because her printer wasn’t working. after stressing about that for about two minutes, i conned nathaniel who connived matt into printing it out and taking it to dr. anne’s office for me. (matthew, i don’t know what is up with us lately … why you are upset with me or angry or whatever it is you are … but this weirdness has to stop …. i still love you, kid. talk to me, please?)

nathaniel, matt, sam, and josh all went home for the weekend. i didn’t get any hours at work. what is a girl to do?! somebody had BETTER be down for something on sunday!!!!!

i should get going … i have to figure out which bus to take to the breslin center because my bike is currently parked at jenison fieldhouse (don’t ask).

did you know that it takes $1700 worth of pizza to feed the spartan marching band?

holy pizza! hooray for small campuses! (i.e. nmu) no buses necessary, except in the winter because it’s too cold outside to walk or ride your bike anywhere.

also, do you have your septum pierced??? if so, i’m jealous.
