yesterday was a wonderful day. squad dinner at bdub’s was so much fun. i love dave. and ashley and susan and joe. i wish we had done more things as a squad. there is talk of going out for ice cream today after practice.
dave asked me at dinner last night, “so are you still dating that one kid from your school?”
i looked down at the table and said, “no.”
“oh. i’m sorry. do you want to talk about it? i remember his mom was so nice.”
so i talked about it. and talked and talked (ashley had just gotten done relaying her dilemma about how 5 boys have asked her to huddle, so it was definitely my turn). susan just gaped at me and said, “that is the most i have ever heard you speak.”
