i received my dress for huddle in the mail today (i love getting packages at michigan state). it’s gorgeous! the top is completely beaded/sequined and the skirt is shimmery orangey/pink. i’m gonna have to go tanning to pull this one off, but that’s always fun.
theme thursday parties make me sad because they always just feel like a last ditch effort to lose myself. i step outside myself and see someone who is loud and outgoing and comfortable with herself. all the boys dance with her and all the girls want to be her. she slams back tequila and works it to justin timberlake, and she is almost always caught kissing the tall blonde boy with the perfect feet.
and so it is also time for me to face the music that i will most likely be on probation from the honors college at the end of this semester. my first semester of college has been mainly about sex and marching band, with a little bit of booze and homework thrown into the mix.
