this loss of sleep over you.

so my winter break is about half over. it has been a pretty good break, considering the circumstances. such as me sleeping on a mattress on the floor because my parents decided to get rid of the bunk bed. gee, thanks for making me feel like family, guys. and they WONDER why i don’t want to spend the summer at home …

work hasn’t been so bad, either. no more five o’clock shifts this week! and it’s tuesday. yay. :) i have several large paychecks coming my way. i’m really hoping to be able to afford an ipod, but we’ll see. maybe when i get my tax return money ….

sunday night, matt and i went out for some chicken tenders at burger king. then we came back to my house and watched napoleon dynamite. i didn’t really get the movie. not because it was complex, just because i’m not sure it had any real plot at all. or character development. or an actual POINT(?????). maybe i’m wrong.

last night, i went with sam, mason, and matt to big boy (we WANTED to go to panera, but we walked in at 8:59pm and didn’t want to be jackasses because they were trying to close the store). i was not very hungry, but i learned that i tell a lot of stupid stories that really have no point at all. then sam told me i look like a mother. i am not having kids. ever. end of story.

after big boy we went to VG’s (because NOTHING in fenton is open past 9pm) and wandered aimlessly around. spent some quality time in the walk-in liquor cooler area. i had no idea they make like 8 flavors of pucker; i think it’s time to venture outside the realm of watermelon and green apple.

nathaniel met us at the movie theater and we went to see meet the fockers. [i saw desi mayner & cristi harr together. a little strange .... but whatever.] the movie was pretty funny.

i’ve got some cool plans shaping up for the rest of break. apparently wednesday night tracie is having some sort of get together (i’m assuming at her house? i don’t know, kc didn’t take a very good message). thursday is my DAY OFF and i will be venturing with matt, sam, mason, nathaniel, and kat out to grand rapids for the day to visit our MSU friends from the west siiiiiiiide. then friday is a new year’s eve bash, of course!

time for work! (it felt SO good to sleep until 8:12am today!!!!)
