so the mexico study abroad grades are posted. i 4.0′d the course, and my GPA went up nearly two points! i now have a 2.9285! sad, i know. if i 2.0 my bio lab AND lecture but 4.0 everything else, i can break 3.2 by the end of the year. and after my summer courses, i could possibly have almost a 3.4. which is back up around where i should be (i’d eventually like to get back over a 3.5, but hey, i’ll take what i can get for now).

hell yeah i do!

so life is still being life (however, the weather has been much nicer!). like i told mike, i am doing awesome in all aspects except boys. but i am honestly too busy to be making much of an appearance on the dating scene anyway.

monday night i went to brian’s. i drank half a pint of smirnoff and went to pinball pete’s with dan, joe, mandi, and colin. on the way there mandi tried to kill me because i said that i “tolerate” social distortion when i ride in joe’s car. we are talking this girl was honestly going to beat me up. but joe saved me, so all was well. mandi is going to hate me forever now. anyway. i totally kicked some ass at pacman (or was it ms. pacman?). and i managed to use the bathroom in bell’s pizza without buying anything (yes, that is an accomplishment). then on the walk back to brian’s, joe and i had a very enlightening conversation, which he remembered none of the next day.

tuesday was pretty uneventful. other than the fact that urbance messed up our fucking plates in lab. “did you guys add arabinose?” ummmm, no! BASTARD. so dan, jeff, and i now have 10 plates …. to split with another lab group. !@#(!@*#()!*@#)!(@*#!# GOD I HATE BIO.

yesterday (wednesday), the woody’s group finally made a reappearance. however, it was not the usual crowd. in fact, it was a lot of kids from akers, who kept asking me if i knew ashley juengling. of course i know ashley juengling, you idiots. god! their names were matt, anthony, robb, and … oh crap i forgot already. anyway. they were cool. i also met josh’s girlfriend, liz, who is kickass! we hung out at josh’s for awhile … spent some quality time with sparks, spiced rum, and the rest of my smirnoff. woody’s didn’t have anywhere for us to sit, so we went to expresso royale instead. i tried to flirt with sean (avec the lovely tattoos!) to get free drinks, but to no avail. i also discovered i still have TONS of pesos in my purse, which do not spend well in america while drunk …. or ever.

josh kept going on and on about how there is a “fence” at conrad hall. and me and the akers kids were like, dude, there is definitely NOT a fence around conrad. but josh was insistent. so when the akers kids walked with me home, we checked it out. sure enough, there is a gatelike structure. not quite a fence, but we can’t totally deem josh a liar.

so all in all, i’ve walked down grand river holding hands with someone TWICE this week. once with joe and once with josh’s girlfriend. haha! i am so awesome.

i am now wearing 1/2″ bone/horn plugs with spades on them. tony says they look like white chocolate and he kind of wants to eat them. haha.

whitney once told me goals are good to have. so with four weeks of school left, i am setting two for myself:

1) hit that 3.2 GPA
2) kiss someone on the roof of conrad
