i have too many thoughts in my head right now.
last night i floated downstairs to do something or other and discovered none other than ben alexander, watching CSI with colin gross. small world! so i hung out with them and they gave me this delicious honey & blackberry sweetened beer. ben almost immediately asked if i had acquired any new tattoos or piercings, and after explaining my new tat to him he called me a hopeless romantic. ben and i gossiped about our fellow trumpeters and good times were had until i retreated back upstairs to complete some french homework.
wra 202 is going to be a blast. 16 kids in the class and it turns out one of them, rob, is from fenton. he informed me that john shipman is getting married. is that crazy or what. i remember when he used to come pester amy and me in the cafeteria and how he always asked me if i was still dating “the loser” (aka sean). i can hardly believe people i know are old enough to be tying the knot.
anyway … the 15 other kids in my intro to professional writing class are all so my scene, if that makes any sense. it’s like we’re all on the same wavelength. and my grade in the class is basically based on three large group projects. in the prof’s words, the class is going to be kickass. i think i’m in the right major! i also learned i am SO not down with the lingo; every single professional writing major refers to the program as “PW”. so PW it is from now on.
by popular demand, my frn 202 class might change from MTuThuF to monday THROUGH thursday. how kickass would that be? then i’d have no classes on friday. booyah. and this is all thanks to my wonderful french partner (i think his name is eric?).
jonathan’s open house this weekend, KELLY’S LAKEHOUSE next weekend. no plans for the weekend after that (july 23ish?). anyone want to book me in advance?
ashley has advised that kissing people for the sake of kissing is messy. ashley has also proposed the idea of attending the DCI finals. how sweet would that be.
