i am addicted to eBay, i swear. it’s almost unhealthy. but my latest selling spree of laptops and other computer-related equipment is going to render me able to pay my fall semester tuition bill, so i am elated about that.

the HP laptop i had up for sale sold for $147.50 this afternoon! woot. and i just resold my WRA 202 textbook on half.com for more money than i bought it for …. kinda crazy. i didn’t even use the book for the class at all. it proved completely unnecessary. but i’m getting $44 for it! woot.

note to self: i must purchase 1/2″ clear plugs before the SMB uniform protocol takes place. i also need to retain my tragus/rook/conch piercings. i may be wearing clear ear gear for the duration of the marching band season; it’s just not worth changing all that jewelry out every saturday for weeks on end. also, i need to buy a new quartz nostril retainer because i lost mine! blast.

mmmm, glasswear studios. and industrial strength. i want to go on a new body jewelry binge so bad.

i e-mailed my section leaders to ask what tempo we should be able to take the block audition piece at and have received no response. ggrrr.

i would like to iterate that danielle, one of the PW program heads, is in my classroom right now and her feet are absolutely covered in tattoos. how sweet is that?

lately i’ve found myself getting into music that is significantly …. heavier than what i normally listen to. and i’ve decided that all three matrix movie soundtracks are tight.

[edit]
turns out i have a rare copy of francesca lia block & hilary carlip’s “zine scene”. oh how i’d love to get $50 for this paperback book via half.com!

which do you think is better to sell a book on- amazon.com or half.com?

hmmm, i don’t know, i’ve never sold a book on amazon.com (but i have successfully used it to buy used books). i would say amazon.com would be accessible to a lot of people who would probably go there first. but i had an eBay account and eBay and half.com are connected … so that way my positive feedback rating applies to my half.com transactions and vice-versa.

i just listed my writing textbook on half.com two days ago and it already sold. *shrugs*

its okay, it’s on the matrix reloaded soundtrack.

oh and the FLB book is a collaborative book about making ‘zines. it’s in the green tub in my room. unless you’re gonna give me $50 for it hurry up and read it … and DON’T mess it up! ;)

Ooh, hot new look for le journal. Did you always have that bootiful icon? I’m going to hunt you down and slurp your lovely journal layout and icon making abilities from your pretty head with a straw.

Oh & I really loved your “who am i”, but it was so .. I can’t think of the right word, painful and pretty come to mind. I couldn’t think of any comments that would do it justice or properly express what I had to say, so I said nothing. But in this more casual setting, I can comment without it sounding so clumsy. I think, anyway.
