i only looked but i never touched.

last weekend was pretty much a big disappointment all around, which explains why i have avoided updating. after losing to U of M, the trumpets had a pajama party at cory & wayne’s house, which consisted of me and maybe four other people actually participating in the pajama-wearing. anyway. i had entirely too much to drink; after i was already wasted i proceeded to do a keg stand (my first!) for twenty seconds and seriously remember nothing after that. i know i freak danced with evan and his friend and peed outside because i got pissed when there was a long line for the bathroom. at some point i sat down to play a game of euchre, got excited when i had both black jacks, then my fucking partner called hearts! i said, “this is BULLSHIT!”, threw my cards, and left the table. chelsea called to make sure i had a ride home and i just kept saying, “mecher’s here!!!” sarah told me i spent a good portion of time dancing with the wall and grinning. i think i was so drunk i couldn’t recognize people, because when ashley arrived around 1am, she said i didn’t even know who she was. oh man. ashley said she ran into brian glasby while looking for me and asked him if i was still at the party and he said, “yeah she’s here….but she’s GONE.” needless to say i ended up falling asleep/passing out in a chair in cory & wayne’s living room ….. and didn’t wake up until i walked home the next morning at 8 o’clock. haha, first walk of shame ever …. but at least i was wearing pajamas.

then monday at practice, matt pagel (one of my section leaders for cryin’ out loud) comes up to me and is like, “so, uhhhh, kristen…i have this awesome picture of you….passed out in a chair on saturday night.”

i told him i’d love to have a copy of it.

on sunday, ashley and i went in search of a microwave but to no avail.

chelsea is in the process of organizing a huge trumpet outing to play paintball/reball. how awesome will that be?!!?

on monday, rehearsal got out super early so chelsea, cathy, and i went to cathy’s apartment and made ourselves some chicken alfredo. mmmmmm. AND NO REHEARSAL YESTERDAY OR FRIDAY = AWESOMENESS. wooooooooo. plus this weekend is sure to be better than last! ;D
