since everyone is already reflecting on the past year…

usually i go in circles but there really weren’t any of those this year.

in summary: i studied abroad in mexico, christened conrad hall, made the dean’s list, changed my major and found a program i adore, paid rent all summer, rode the top thrill dragster, 4.0‘d both of my summer classes, went on some amazing roadtrips, saw some sweet drum corps shows, made some awesome new friends (including my lovely roomie), landed 46th chair in the block, bonded with this year’s trumpet section, partied like a rockstar, kissed 8 boys (only two of which were sober…ironically those were also my only ex-boyfriends), bought a new car & learned to drive a stick, went to a strip club for the first time, tried out for squad leader, and auditioned for phantom regiment.

the fall semester is drawing to a close and it’s looking like i will finish up with two 4.0′s, a 3.5, and a 3.0. not too shabby, and certainly better than last year’s fall semester…

my plans for winter break include (but are not limited to) attending the glassmen december camp, working at mcdonald’s, playing video games with jeff, viewing an audrey hepburn film with jessica, and ushering in the new year with sam, mason, matt, & mike.

i might bitch a lot but overall, i am happy. the only things that could make life better are a boy to cuddle with and a band to drum with. i am pretty sure my new year’s resolution this year will be to find faith. because that’s another area of my life that is severely lacking.

i need to find whatever it is i think i am looking for.

next semester’s schedule
WRA 360: Visual Rhetoric
WRA 370: Editing & Style
WRA 410: Advanced Web Authoring
ENG 226: Creative Writing
FRN 340: Reading French Lit.
MUS 116: Campus Band
