oh what a weekend. thursday night was a holiday-esque gathering at sam & mike’s. matt, mason, jessie, and amber were there of course …. and john, karen, chris, kelly, and bill stopped by for a bit as well. much coconut rum & mango rum was had (though not together of course), and mike managed to toast to glassmen about five different ways. i eventually got a little crazy and ended up sleeping over at sam & mike’s. everything really screamed of last year and i liked it. i miss those case boys (+ mason). hopefully i’ll be seeing a bit of them over break.
friday was one late-ass night. after work i ate dinner and took a short nap and watched a bit of scream on TV (classic cheesy horror movie…you can’t go wrong, really). then i headed over to mary mayo for a night of debauchery with trevor, anthony, brian burt, dave metz, and sarah. we watched some basketball (which i was highly uninterested in, but burt wouldn’t share the remote), then busted out a deck of hooters playing cards. sarah and i proceeded to narrow down the deck to the top 3 girls we thought were the prettiest…including this one with ultra-awesome abs. the boys totally disagreed with our number one though. oh well, what do they know?
we then played a game of egyptian ratscrew. bicardi apple & coco all around (except for sarah, who had apparently sworn off drinking for the night). then it was across the hall for some quality beer pong. THENNNNN trevor and i decided we wanted to go hunt down the ghosts of mary mayo hall, so after a quick trip to the bathroom we ventured up to the fourth floor landing. i was disappointed. there is really nothing special about it at all, except the door is a different color and doesn’t have a window like the other doors leading out into the stairwells. also, the door to the fourth floor also has a large opening underneath…like a couple inches. it was big enough for me to stick my hands under the door. kinda creepy, but it seemed there was nothing beyond the door but dust. how disappointing.
finally headed home at 4:07am. freshman dave walked with me. he really should talk more because i think he is a nice kid.
saturday was spent sleeping until 2:44pm, then heading over to cathy’s apartment with cathy & chelsea for cookie-baking and studying. needless to say i didn’t get any studying done. then jeremy picked me up and i went with him, dave peters, and their cellist friend (kaitlin?) to see harry potter & the goblet of fire at the IMAX. i had never been before, and it was worth every penny of the $12 i had to spend to go see it. i had an AMAZING time. and i still love dave no matter how much smack people talk about him.
upon my arrival back at shaw, i headed downstairs to see the second half of hannibal with matt and jess and molly.
sunday was spent doing a ton of studying/homework and then finishing up the evening by watching red dragon with matt & jess.
i have applied to be a mentor next year as well as for a production position at the state news. i will also be working for the campus radio station next semester. it should be pretty sweet.
oh, and i take back what i said about not going in circles.

I was thinking about applying to be a mentor, but I don’t know. I really like Shaw, and I don’t want to have to leave this dorm. :/
on the app you can list your top 3 dorms of choice and provide a reason why you would like to live there. i requested shaw as my first choice because of its proximity to bessey.
hell yeah (+ mason)!
How are you going to to SMB and being a mentor? (Just curious.) It sounds like it’d be crazy.
*shrugs* take a really minimal amount of credits i suppose? i’ll cross that bridge when i get there. ;)
Sounds like a plan to me! That’s what I like to do.
I really like how you mention applying to be a mentor, right above the tag: “Drunken debauchery”
ADDENDUM TO THE RECORD:
thursdayKristen was drunk, got up in Mike’s bed, took off all of her clothes, and the proceeded to fall the 5 feet from the loft to the floor. Being naked and being hurt from the fall were the least of her concerns though. She had to pee.
