oh what a break it has been. if you had told me one year ago all of the crazy things that i would get up to during the next 365 days, i would not have believed you. simple as that.
i haven’t updated much, but i’m not going to apologize.
christmas was great, except for having to close mcdonald’s on christmas eve and missing festivities with my family. i received the usual money & giftcards. bought 3 new pairs of jeans and an assload of stuff from victoria’s secret. i also received the following gifts:
i ended up working a lot over break, but not as much as i would have liked. today was my last day. hopefully i will never have to go back to mcdonald’s again, though i will probably end up there for spring break. hrrmph. i was sad to learn that jim’s last day was the sunday before i returned to work. i was heartbroken. but at least kevin was back for his winter break and he provided some entertainment during the long work days. probably only made like $500 over break. i did sell a bunch of my books on half.com, though.
i’ve watched a lot of movies over break as well; i went and saw the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe and brokeback mountain. also watched the forgotten, the day after tomorrow, and i also saw spanglish again (which i looooove).
ashley came up to visit last friday night. then saturday (new year’s eve) was AMAZING. especially mike preaching from the hotel bible with a fifth of soco in his hand and a cigarette in his mouth. good times with good friends. speaking of mike, i just got off the phone with him. mostly he wanted to bug me about jordan and about camp next weekend (which i am quite excited about).
back to school in T minus 2 days. i am absolutely thrilled (and that is not sarcasm). this weekend promises to be amazing.
