WRA 320: Technical Writing
Oh 317 Bessey, how I had missed you! My prof for this class is Chris Gilliard…he seems young and pretty cool. The content of the class isn’t going to be as web-based as I had originally thought, but I guess that’s alright. I was surprised to find that Matt Raetz (of the SMB trumpets) is in my class (he’s an engineering major and usually there’s only PW majors in my PW classes). I can’t wait to start some group work in here.
JRN 205: Writing for Media
The class I am sitting in while writing this. I forgot how far away the ComArts Bldg. is from everrrrrrything. It’s gonna suck getting out here once I gets colder out. Plus the classroom is on the second floor but looks like it’s in a basement with no windows and turquoise-painted cinder block walls. Anyway. This class is going to be a breeze – right now we are covering the writing process and a bunch of other shit I already know. Plus I’ve grown accustomed to professors who are pretty technology savvy, and my JRN 205 prof is anything but. He says he is “too old” to understand how ANGEL works. Good lord, the man is only in his fifties or so. Whatever.
WRA 355: Publication Workshop
A lot of writing. We are required to keep structured journals and write several other larger pieces of writing each week. The final project for the class is a long personal narrative and prepare it to be published. Fucking sweet.
WRA 493D: Internship
Ummmm, I haven’t actually done anything for this yet because those of us enrolled have yet to meet.
MUS 114: Marching Band
Band is going great! My squad is pretty kickass and rehearsals seem to fly by. First part sucks and makes my lips hurt a lot…but at least it provides me with some sort of challenge after this summer. The trumpet party following freshman dress on Saturday was pretty sweet. I got pretty tipsy on half a pint of 99 Blackberries and walked home from Todd’s with Glasby & Trevor (well, we had to drop off T-Rev in West Circle for a booty call, so it was pretty much Glasby and me walking home). Glasby even asked me for a goodnight hug upon parting. Awww, what a cute drunk boy.
Campus is great,as usual. I’ve been going to Bubble Island a LOT (and by a lot I mean pretty much daily). I am now a Bubble Island VIP and I have a sweet shirt to prove it.
Glassmen banquet this weekend. Aw hell yeah. I am running down to Toledo after the MSU vs. Idaho game. If we don’t win I think I shall have to cancel my enrollment at Michigan State.
I just noticed I wrote this entry with correct capitalization throughout. I’m not sure why.

Julier… it’s all her fault.
