New tattoo and my Princess Jasmine Halloween costume.

I got another tattoo yesterday! It is a heart with a crown and two swallows, right above my pubic bone. It hurt (of course), but not as much as I was expecting, and certainly not as bad as my feet did (which I was a little surprised by). I have 2 more planned but they will have to wait for monetary as well as job-procuring reasons.

This was also my first tattoo NOT done by Chris Hornus; I went to Eric Jenks at Fish Ladder Tattoo Co. in Lansing and I am very pleased with his work (not that I was ever displeased with Chris’, but I just wanted to try a new style). The coloring especially is most excellent.

KC also visited for the weekend. Corner and I went to pick her up from Interlochen on Friday afternoon and went to see the MSU Symphony Orchestra concert on Friday evening. Mom came up for the concert and afterwards the 4 of us went to Pizza House for dinner.

On Thursday morning I had an interview with Google and it is finally dawning on me that in a year I will live somewhere new and have a real job (dare I say ‘career’?).

Yesterday was also a Halloween gathering at my house. Lots of fun to be had, and my Princess Jasmine costume looked pretty good. Corner also made a very cute Jafar. :)

Hi, I see this question was asked before a few years ago but I have been looking everywhere for a costume exactly like the one you wore and no luck. Where did you get it? Or if you made it, do you have any tips? If you could reply or e-mail me that would be fantastic. Thanks so much!!

I put this costume together myself. I bought the top and pants on eBay; it was listed as a “genie” costume. I did modify the top a bit to suit my needs (it was too long).

The gold genie shoes were purchased from a company that makes dance shoes. The soles were really thin, so they weren’t appropriate for walking around outside or anything, but for this indoor party they were fine.

I purchased the wig from a regular costume store and added my own blue ribbons. The genie lamp purse was from a costume store as well. The necklace was just costume jewelry and I can’t remember where I purchased it.

I hope this helps!!
