Spring break 2008

I just spent the last week enjoying what was perhaps my most relaxing spring break ever. I only worked one day @ NSP and other than that, did NOTHING. I slept a lot, played Guitar Hero III a lot, and did a bit of necessary homework. I also did a lot of hanging out with Corner, my roommates, Chelsea, Emma, Cathy, and Eric.

Friday night Chelsea, Emma, and I went to AI Fusion Grill and had some AMAZING sushi, then we went to check out the Blue Midnight Hookah lounge, where we had an AMAZING sex on the beach hookah with white grape juice in the bottom. It lasted almost 2 hours and was the smoothest hookah I have ever had.

Yesterday Corner and I drove up to Interlochen to see KC’s band concert. They played Mars and Jupiter from Gustav Holst’s suite The Planets, plus some other pieces I didn’t recognize. Dad took the three of us out to dinner, and we also got to meet KC’s boyfriend, Chris….who called me ma’am. Damn Texas manners. I finally got to see KC’s dorm room, which is about the size of my bedroom except with two people’s stuff packed in there and cinder block walls kind of like Eastern Michigan University’s dorms.

The next time I have a break from classes, I will be graduated. SCARRRRRYYYYY!!!!!

This is it…the end of senior year crunch. The only things standing between me and graduation are as follows:

  • 2 French exams for FRN 430
  • 2 graphics + 1 final project for JRN 408
  • 2 portfolio versions for WRA 455
  • event planning for WRA 260 (two Native American former FBI agents are coming to campus and we are in charge of planning, promoting, and advertising the event)
  • portfolio presentation to the WRAC Community and Industry Advisory Board
  • 1 Honors Option in there somewhere in order to graduate from the Honors College. It’s probably either gonna be for FRN 430 or WRA 455, we shall have to see.
  • helping hire my replacement webmasters for Kresge and Neuroscience

I think it’s crazy that it’s time for you to graduate from college in less than two months now and that I could very easily be in your shoes right now. Where did these four years go?
