Today I woke up hysterical.

Weird dream last night. I had a dream that I went to theater class (with a prof I have never seen before, in a lecture hall I have never been in). It was actually the review session for an exam. I left class a few minutes early to go to dinner with Corner and my roommates. I arrived back at the house on Bogue Street to discover Sean standing naked in our living room. He hid behind me while he got dressed and then left.

I went out to dinner (at a restaurant I didn’t recognize) with Corner, Sam, Kyle, John, and Cassie. Then Jordan showed up. He joined us and dinner was seemingly uneventful until the end of the night when Jordan gave me a ring — right in front of Corner. Not an engagement ring or anything, but a huge white gold ring that I immediately recognized as a Tiffany’s ring. It had two large open circles that were outlined in diamonds and my name was engraved on both sides of the band. In fact, the ring looked much like this one from Tiffany & Co., except with circles instead of hearts….and more diamonds.

As soon as he gave me the ring Jordan bolted. Corner and I were left standing there like wtf. Then Corner was like, “Well, are you gonna wear it?” And I decided why the hell not, my rationale to Corner being that it was a $3,000 ring and I might as well show it off.

So Corner drove me home and upon arriving back at my house, I realized I had left my notebook and textbook for theater in the classroom during class earlier that afternoon. I looked my watch to discover it was 1am and I was really upset that the building I had left my stuff in had closed an hour earlier. I started crying and and getting upset that I wouldn’t be able to study at all for my exam until I got my stuff back, I didn’t know anyone else in the class to borrow notes or the book from, etc.

I woke up nearly in hysterics over this class I don’t have, over a lost textbook that doesn’t even exist. I think this whole thing mostly means that school and weird situations have been stressing me out quite a bit.

• Classroom
