Soooooo I’m done with my undergraduate career at MSU! I suppose this is the last blog entry I will place in the “college” category.
I got a 500/500 on my portfolio presentation (YEAHHHHH!). Google interview on Monday. I chatted with Sasha on the phone for a bit today and he offered me some helpful advice regarding their interview process.
I’ve changed my Facebook profile to read “Michigan State University Alum.” I removed the Lansing State Journal from my newsfeed and added the Los Angeles Times (it’s so much more depressing; instead of reading about tuition hikes and skyrocketing gas prices, the top daily headlines are murders and sexual assaults and other scary things). I’ve got a couple thousand dollars to my name and I’m not sure how far that will get me. I need to buy new tires before I leave.
I’m a little scared right now. Corner and I are still planning on moving to California, but there have been a few hiccups in the planning. Kathy and Sam bought most of my furniture so that’s set. Another guy came and bought my bed yesterday. My room currently consists of boxes and a sleeping bag. I’m also still trying to sell my bike. A few people have come to take a look at it. One guy even offered me $800, which I think I may take. So much to think about.
For now I must return to packing up all of my worldly belongings.
