It feels good to fail at something.

There are less than 12 hours left in this year’s NaNoWriMo, and I think it’s safe to say that I have failed. I stayed on pace for almost 2 weeks but eventually just lost steam after completely exhausting my outlined materials.

Total word count: 19,365. It’s 106 pages in Storyist, and a damn good start. I’m glad I finished as much as I did.

Perhaps I’ll win next year.

I failed twice before winning, and I must say that you got MUCH farther than I did my first time. Do you plan on continuing the story or revising at all? I get all excited when people write!

I enjoyed the writing I got done, just not at the breakneck speed required for NaNoWriMo. I think I will definitely finish the story and revise it on my own time. :)
