I wrote and designed this label to be placed on the various heating systems installed by Urban Options through the Heating System Replacement Program. These units are installed in low-income households and the labels contain pertinent information related to the installation and inspection of the heating systems. The old label was bulky and took up an entire 8.5" x 11" piece of paper; this new label prints four per page using Avery-5168 labels.

I compiled and wrote an in-house style guide to be used by all of the employees at Michigan State University's Turfgrass Information Center (TIC). This document clearly established guidelines so that written works produced by TIC workers would be consistent in grammar, form, and style.
This technical writing piece describes vehicle airbags and driver eligibility for an airbag on-off switch. Created using Adobe InDesign, this handout demonstrates my ability to write informatively while keeping audience and document design principles in mind.
This set of seven poems features three interrelated characters: a female bartender, a male customer at the bar, and a nude dancer who works at the club across the street. The poems use several meters and rhyme schemes including free verse and trochaic trimeter. The poem entitled "Martini" was published in
The Big Green (Vol. 5 Issue 7) and received an honorable mention in their 2nd annual poetry contest.
